SAIC is hiring a Technical Support Specialist located in Pensacola, FL. This position will be supporting Training & Education Management Systems for Naval Education and Training Command (NETC). The roles primary focus is with Naval Education and Training Future Officer and Citizenship User System (NETFOCUS).

Job Duties:

  • Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms
  • Assist with completion of DISA STIG checklists and generating or updating applicable ATO artifacts.
  • Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies, security needs, and user functional requirements.
  • Interact with the engineering management team and senior customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.
  • Work closely with other developers, QA analysts, project managers and business subject matter experts to design and develop custom software systems within a government enterprise environment.
  • Help identify the impact on systems of software upgrades and new technology.
  • Facilitate collection of detailed functional requirements from Program Managers, staff, and end-users.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree and (3) three years of relevant experience; High School diploma and (5) five years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Required Skills:

  • Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms
  • Assist with completion of DISA STIG checklists and generating or updating applicable ATO artifacts.
  • Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies, security needs, and user functional requirements.

Desired skills:

  • NETFOCUS support experience.
  • Application patch support
  • End-user account creation and permission updates
