State & Local Governments Market and Global Talent Leader
SAIC is seeking a Market Leader to lead a business portfolio in the State & Local Government market and a Global talent leader. The successful candidate will be an expert at building trusted relationships, drive new business growth, build global talent and partnerships that enable our clients' mission success.
The State & Local Governments Market and Global Talent Leader is responsible for the strategy, growth, execution, and talent management for the portfolio. The leader must be able to forecast, monitor, and meet annual business plan financials and operational objectives with a focused effort on driving growth that aligns with the enterprise growth strategy. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Civilian business group's leadership team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify, manage and nurture client, subcontractor, global talent and partner relationships
- Establish and implement strategic plans to ensure the market meets its objectives.
- Drive planning, priorities and initiatives including monthly operations reviews, program reviews, and success metrics to drive key business outcomes.
- Lead growth strategies to enable retention of strategic recompetes and capture of new business opportunities
- Ensure programs are successfully executing across all program requirements – from proposal through contract completion
- Lead the integration of multiple disciplines and enablement functions to maximize effectiveness across the enterprise
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships across government and industry
- Create and promote a collaborative environment conducive to the professional growth and development of the team
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with twenty (20) years of experience; Master's Degree preferred
- Deep understanding of global talent models and the ability to leverage global capabilities to accelerate business strategies
- Knowledge and experience with export and import compliance
- Experience delivering a broad range of services, solutions, and technology to clients
- Progressive industry programmatic experience, technology leadership, successfully managing portfolios in excess of $200 million in budgets and/or annual revenue
- Demonstrated experience in driving profitable growth across large and complex programs
- Experience with multiple cabinet level government agencies and regulated industries (like financial services, insurance or healthcare), multiple contract types, including firm fixed price and T&M
- International experience, especially establishing and leading operations across USA and Indiaand leading a global workforce
- Deep understanding of business operations including budget planning and long-range strategic planning
- Ability to engage at all levels of the organization - quickly developing trust, communicating, and driving actions
- A proven track record of delivering high-value results for clients with limited direction
- Ability to build teams and drive decisions to transform the business
- Measurable track record of success identifying, qualifying, and winning large captures
