Job Summary

 

The Vice President, Store Sales is responsible for leading all store-driven omnichannel sales performance across a national fleet of approximately 670 store locations. This role drives sales growth, ensures operational excellence, and creates a best-in-class customer experience that strengthens loyalty and engagement. The VP is accountable for the overall financial performance, brand representation, and continued expansion of the store network. This leader will define and execute sales strategies, inspire high-performing teams, annual objectives are managed and achieved through a team of Regional Directors (RDs) as direct reports, District Mentors (DMs) and their respective store teams, in addition to the Business Development team for suites.  The VP must demonstrate strong leadership skills, possess a keen understanding of market dynamics and a proven record of sales achievement.  Candidate must be skillful at developing brand working relationships and have the ability to empower and cultivate talent.


Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute annual sales plan based on selling trends, create and implement strategic action plans to positively impact business and achievement of all sales budgets for the nation.
  • Execute sales “go to market strategies” that drive profitable revenue in partnership with PPD and Partner Brands.
  • Responsible for developing and leading ongoing retail strategies and improve operating efficiency of stores and increase profits.
  • Work closely with VP Omni Operations to ensure implementation and monitoring of operating policies, procedures and standards so that stores are operating in accordance with best practices and efficiently managing operating expenses.
  • Recruit, retain and develop a high performing and diverse management team.
  • Travel to store locations to ensure selling, management and visual merchandising standards are met.
  • Collaborate with various business partners (Digital, Marketing, Omni Channel leaders, Omni Operations, Learning & Development, Finance and Human Resources) to share best practices and execute business strategies. 


Experience, Competencies and Physical Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of managing multiple freestanding retail store locations with broad geographic scope.
  • Exceptional business acumen required, including experience with budgeting and P&L management.
  • Strong merchandising skills and proven leader in the design and implementation of traffic driving initiatives in the retail store environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, as well as communicate ideas in a compelling and persuasive manner to influence key stakeholders. 
  • Proven project management and planning experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of the competitive landscape and ability to translate findings to positively impact business. 
  • Highly resourceful, flexible and ability to solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management or related field of study (or equivalent work experience) required.
  • Must be able to remain stationary or sit for the majority of a scheduled day.
  • Must be able to stand and move around a store for the majority of a scheduled day.
  • Able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment throughout the day.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% based on business needs.
