Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies Ability to operate or learn to operate railcar loading systems and equipment Ability to perform work safely and productively Ability and interest in being cross trained on all functions at facility Strong work ethic Keeps work area clean Is not afraid to ask questions Attention to detail Accurately fill out all necessary paperwork Enforces safety policies and procedures with other employees and visitors Ability to perform general maintenance on equipment Assist with other duties within the facility (general maintenance, landscape upkeep and painting) Interact with customers, railroad crews, other Team Members and visitors Understands customer needs  Requirements of a successful Transload Operator High School Diploma or GED equivalent  Read, write, and understand English Basic math skills Computer skills (light data entry) Valid Driver's License Capable to learn how to operate and maintain railcar/trans loading equipment (e.g., Hoses, portable conveyors, transfer pumps, portable stair systems, small to large sized equipment, etc.) Ability and willingness to travel to other transload terminals to assist when necessary; maybe for up to a week at a time  Here are some of the physical requirements for this role:  Physically able to climb up and down railcars/ladders safely Willing to receive general safety training Ability to work outside in ALL weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps) Willing to work with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials Can carry at least fifty (50) pounds In good physical condition (able to walk one (1) to three (3) miles per shift)  #IND1
