You will repair, install, and maintain different types of industrial and mobile equipment to reduce downtime. You will also work closely with the Operations leadership team and other team members, follow safety rules, and help support daily operations in the facility.   What you'll be doing: Apply your mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment performing at its best Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial equipment, mobile heavy equipment, conveyors, and rotating equipment.  Assist with other mechanical and electrical repairs around the facility when needed. Keep the shop clean and organized while helping maintain parts inventory. Learn and work with the leadership to use and maintain the CMMS system for tracking repairs and maintenance. Make sure all work follows company rules and regulatory safety requirements. Follow proper procedures, maintenance steps, and operating guidelines. Help write or update maintenance procedures when needed. Communicate equipment issues clearly to team members, supervisors, and other internal contacts. Operate various equipment as needed to complete tasks, including truck cranes, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting tools. Maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure equipment and tools are properly stored and maintained. Set up and operate grinders and other metalworking tools to fabricate or repair parts using appropriate measuring instruments such as rules, calipers, and micrometers. Use hand and power tools related to mechanical repair duties, including impacts, wrenches, and hose machines. Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which includes hard hat, safety glasses, splash goggles, face shield, reflective clothing, flame-resistant (FR) garments as required, gloves, steel-toed metatarsal boots, and any additional PPE required by the job or site conditions.  Troubleshoot and solve mechanical and technical problems. Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance work. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements to be successful in this position: Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial, heavy equipment, or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred); 5+ years experience preferred.  Solid skills in several of the following areas: Mechanical Hydraulics Welding Pneumatics Electrical Plumbing Electrical experience preferred, including exposure to: 3-phase high-voltage systems Low-voltage systems AC/DC electrical systems Control wiring and powered equipment VFD and PLC troubleshooting (preferred) Prior experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, industrial or diesel mechanic required. Experience as welder, fabricator, millwright, boilermaker preferred. Certifications preferred but not required. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and possibly on-call hours Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders) Strong focus on safety and environmental awareness. Ability to read, write, and understand English and follow verbal or written instructions. Willing to help with any tasks assigned by the Operations leaders Experience using a CMMS system is helpful. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with supervisors, vendors, and team members. Self‑starter who can work independently and follow company goals and policies. Values that align with our company culture. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card. Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements including but not limited to criminal history background check, MVR, drug & alcohol testing, fitness for duty  Here are some of the physical requirements for this role: Stand, walk, and work for long periods of time Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Work outdoors in all weather conditions Climb ladders and work on uneven or elevated surfaces Work safely around heavy equipment and in industrial environments Ability to operate various types of equipment    #IND1
