We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our Legal Department for a 6-month internship. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international legal environment, supporting the legal function across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contract Handling and legal support:
Support in the management of a wide range of contracts, with a focus on lower-risk agreements (such as NDAs, LOIs, and basic service agreements)
Assist in the review and coordination of more complex documents like distribution or manufacturing contracts, and general Terms and Conditions.
Help maintain and update the contract archive and registration system.
Provide basic legal support to all departments across Europe, working closely with the Legal team.
2. Corporate Housekeeping:
Support the preparation and management of Powers of Attorney, Board minutes, shareholder agreements, and other recurring corporate documents.
Coordinate approvals across multiple entities and jurisdictions and stakeholders with varying proxy structures.
3. Document Management:
Organize and archive legal documentation (both physical and digital) for 10 European entities, maintaining internal compliance logs and tracking systems.
Ensure proper follow-up and achieving signed contracts, often overlooked in daily operations.
4. Compliance:
Support regulatory filings and internal reporting obligations for each European plant (for e.g.: UBO declarations, ESG requirements between others).
Assist with internal compliance processes and risk assessments and liaise with external legal advisors, when needed.
Candidate Key Ingredients:
Active student status
Law student or recent graduate (Master's preferably or final year of degree).
Strong organizational, detail- oriented person and multitasking skills.
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken). Other languages will be highly considerated.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with DocuSign or SharePoint is a plus.
