The objective of this position is to deliver improvements to Schreiber's private label customers. The Product Manager will assume strategic leadership for their segment/brand. This position requires a high level of teamwork and cross-functional interaction, with all departments. Key deliverables include analyzing & organizing the market data, identifying market opportunities and developing new products, range and product optimization. Partner in this role will become consumer expert within their segments/brands. The success of this position will be measured by variable income for segments/brands within the partner's control.
Key Responsabilities:
Market expertise
Research and analyze market data
Present category recommendation to the customers
Identify key competitors and consumer trends
Articulate market requirements and opportunities
Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements, including packaging solutions
Work with research team regarding product development
Store-checks and analysis of prices, innovation/launches, recipes.
Project Management of Product Development
Working with R&D and Quality departments to determine product specifications
Define the long term strategy of the product and create product road map
Prepare product documents including Market Requirement Documents and product use specifications to drive product activity
Determine product packaging solutions
Coordinate the projects of product development
Manage and communicate with cross functional teams
Work closely with the European teams to analyze the plant capabilities and costumer needs
Key Ingredients:
Bachelor or masters in Marketing /Management
3 to 5 years of experience in Marketing or/and Sales in FMCG companies
Speak and write in fluent English (proficient)
Good knowledge of Spanish (Good to have)
Strong leadership qualities
Ability to gather, analyze and interpret consumer data and apply learnings to drive results
Work effectively at all levels and network across the organization to build relationships
Lead cross-functional teams and develop project plans, including management of both internal and external resources
Be a strong team player within the sales team and across functional areas
Have a strong results-orientation
Attention to detail and strong sense of rigor.
Ability to influence and persuade costumers and leadership across the company
Car driver license
Availability to travel up to 20% to Spain (Quarterly)
