Our Lead Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for assuring all deliveries, supplies, inventory and equipment are accurately received, inventoried and distributed in accordance with company practices. Leads by example, in all duties, communication, timeliness, training seasonal staff, receiving of product, verifying quality, quantity and price against invoices and purchase orders. Maintaining timely delivery of items to departments and properly storing/rotating product to minimize loss and waste.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:  

  • Act as a lead, handling issues and concerns, resolving them in within the company's policies and regulations.
  • Oversee daily Shipping/Receiving operations, identify, manage and report on risk areas. 
  • Ensure all ordered products are being received, by matching delivery tickets, packing slips, receiving sheets, bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders and / or requisitions for purchase with receiving data sheet to verify quantity, quality, price and      description of product; ensuring that shortages on all invoices, packing slips or delivery tickets are acknowledged by all parties involved (including delivery driver).
  • Record and document all receiving and outgoing merchandise according to departmental procedure to ensure complete traceability; maintain filing systems and logs and provide legible documentation.
  • Accurately track and record all food temperatures while following food handling safety standards.
  • Hold responsibility for proper daily storage and/or outlet delivery of all received goods.
  • Assist with organization and maintenance of storeroom, stocking shelves, and rotation of all products on a first in first out (FIFO) basis. 
  • Participate in storeroom inventory counts according to set standards.
  • Ensure proper security and accessibility to storerooms throughout property.
  • Enforce strict application of the agreed upon cleaning/sanitizing schedule.
  • Prioritize tasks according to operational needs and remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Clearly articulate and communicate with guests/visitors and resort personnel in a courteous, and discreet manner. 
  • Ability to focus attention on details, be well organized and follow up accordingly.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guests, associates and vendor information.


Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Accurately read and effectively verify documentation in the English Language.
  • Maintain at all times a clean driving record and a valid driving license to operate motor vehicles.
  • Maintain knowledge of all Resort services, features and hours of operation.
  • Maintain complete knowledge and compliance with all Resort and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ability to focus attention on details, be well organized and follow up accordingly.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guests, associates and vendor information.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while prioritizing and organizing work assignments.
  • Ability to constantly lift and move up to 75 pounds, including storing in overhead areas, to push and pull a cart / dolly weighing approximately 100 pounds, including up and down inclines.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb and reach coupled standing/walking continuously.
  • Ability to work cohesively with other departments as part of a team.
  • Participate in Accounting and Purchasing meetings as requested by Controller.
  • Complete assignments and special projects assigned by Purchasing / Receiving Agent or Controller.
  • Help to maintain and audit safety standards in all storage areas throughout the property.
