Human Resources Manager

Location:  Arkansas, Onsite Position

Position Summary:

 The Human Resources Manager aligns business objectives with employees and leaders, serving as a partner on HR-related issues. The role involves improving work relationships, maintaining morale, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
  • Coach managers to effectively apply company policies and communicate with teams.
  • Support and guidance for the local HR team.
  • HR Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily HR functions including employee relations, new hire orientation, performance management, and offboarding processes.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
    • Assist managers with documentation for the updating of HRIS (Human Resource Information System) for accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
    • In collaboration with the corporate HR department, support compensation, benefits, recruiting and HRIS operations locally.
    • Guide managers on workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Address employee inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts in accordance with company policies.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Performance Management:
    • Implement and manage performance appraisal process.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues.
    • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Retention:
    • Develop retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Policy Implementation:
    • Ensure consistent application and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
    • Update and maintain the employee handbook and policies within the team to reflect current practices and legal requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits of HR processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present reports on HR activities and initiatives to senior management.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
    • Align HR Objectives with Corporate strategies

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
  • Strong employee relations and people management skills.
  • Analytical with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with HR metrics and comprehensive HR functions.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
  • This is an Onsite position, this is not a remote work opportunity.
