- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Couplet Care
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Both available as resources 24/7
- EFM System: Obix
- Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 day hospital orientation, 1 shift orientation on unit;Call required
- Job Requirements
- Required Certifications: BLS, ALS, NRP
- Preferred: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, STABLE, PALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, Insulin, Oxytocin, Epidurals, Magnesium Sulfate
- Schedule Information
- Mandatory call: (4) 4hr shifts a month
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other
- Holiday Requirement: 1 major, 1 minor, 1 difficult to staff

- OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? Family Practice Residents available 24/7; High Risk OB on call 24/7, Neonatology via consultation in Medford and Portland
- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Vents and Nasal bubble CPAP; Vented infants are transferred to tertiary care facility after stabilization
- Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Yes. Monitor Techs are located in an eMCU. RNs do not read the strips but can.
- Floating Requirements: No
- Scrub Color/Dress code: Hospital provided
- Additional Details
- ACLS, BLS, NRP;MEDICAL SOLUTIONS WILL COMPLETE A PRESCREEN
- HOUSING IS VERY DIFFICULT WITH PETS - CC MUST PUT IN A SPECIAL HOUSING FINDS PRIOR TO PLACEMENT
