The Human Resources Specialist will be part of a collaborative team that strives to create and maintains a culture that aligns to the enterprise's Vision and Mission to deliver sustainable results.

The role acts as a role model and change agent in supporting the life cycle of an employee from sourcing, onboarding, integration, development, retention, and separation.

Work Hours: Office hours – between 7am – 5pm (hybrid capability post training)

Key Responsibilities for Human Resources Specialist include:    

Coordination & Support of:

  • Sourcing and hiring strategies to hire and retain top talent for all open positions, ensuring that established talent acquisition process is followed.
  • Facilitation of recruiting activities by reviewing candidates, scheduling interviews, seeking feedback, and coordinating offers of employment.
  • Onboarding activities as a new hire joins the organization and becomes valuable to our team.
  • Administration of data to enable employee data to flow accurately within the HRIS system. 

 

The ideal Human Resources Specialist candidate must demonstrate:   

  • Attention to detail, organization, effective time management, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective and tactful communication, orally and in writing, to all levels of people inside and outside the organization.
  • Commitment to meeting the needs of the organization; building trust and strong relationships by delivering exceptional service and fostering teamwork.
  • High computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office programs.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required: Two or more years' experience working in an HR-related role; talent acquisition and onboarding highly preferred
  • Preferred: Experience with HRIS systems
