Qualifications
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance or TS/SCI Eligible status
- U.S. Citizens only
- 3-8 years of relevant administrative support experience
- Earned Bachelors degrees (or equivalent relevant experience of at least 5 years)
- Experience with professional system acquisition program office communications, documentation, reporting and outreach
Desired:
- Specific work experience supporting the design, development and operation of space-based systems
- Familiarity with U.S. Air Force and USSF acquisition policies, protocols, practices, procedures, and processes
- Familiarity with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) processes and procedures
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARSUP) policies, practices and procedures

Responsibilities
The Administration Support Specialists assist in leading System Acquisition and Systems Engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis. They work with program and project managers to support the design, development and instantiation of space systems and advanced system capabilities. The Administrative Support Specialists that we are seeking for this important opportunity will help enable advanced capabilities and proactive protective understanding of how our family of space-based assets and programs operate, interact, and serve our highest priority national defense. Objectives include:
- Administrative Assistants that are:
- Highly knowledgeable in performing executive-level support services with an emphasis on ability to effectively communicate with Senior Government, Military and industry leaders and their supporting staffs
- Able to process, receive, track, coordinate, and store large volumes of program critical information
- Able to coordinate and organize multiple geographically-separated team members
- Able to manage taskers
- Highly knowledgeable of USSF/SSC and HHQ staffing process
- Skilled in Platform 1, Jira, Confluence
- Highly knowledgeable in ways to help improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of supported USSF SSC SDA&CP division missions
- Business Analysts that are:
- Able to analyze data, develop or improve algorithms and use data visualization tools
- Highly knowledgeable and certified in U.S. Air Force records management and in the Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Able to process, receive, track, coordinate and store large volumes of program critical information
- Highly knowledgeable in leading projects facilitating human resources, training, administrative actions, critical staffing actions, and collaborating across multiple disciplines to deliver products
- Able to coordinate and organize geographically-separated team members
- Executive Assistants that are:
- Executive Staff Support functions
- Military Protocol Information Management/Operations Support functions
- Federally-Funded Research and Development Centers
- Profit/Non-profit Government support/development contractor arenas
- Experienced in analyzing and evaluating current events and providing recommendations to executive leadership
- Highly experienced performing military and/or civilian executive-level support services, protocol, information management, and administrative support activities, specifically in the areas of:
- Experienced in classified systems data handling and operational level support
- Able to interface with Senior Leadership within the Government (military and/or civil servant)
- In possession of at least four years of experience specifically iin support of DoD programs
- Facility Managers that are:
- Highly experienced in performing acquisition management activities related to facility operation and accreditation of SCIF/SAPF facilities
- Highly experienced reviewing plans and layouts for compliance with policies, protocols, practices, regulations and statutes
- Experienced collaborating with Government (military and/or civil servant) officials, federally-funded research and development centers and profit/non-profit Government support/development contractors
- In possession of at least six years of experience specifically in support of DoD programs
- PMP certified (preferred).
- Facility Planners that are:
- Experienced in planning, developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive, affordable and effective system facilities and layouts
- Experienced working infrastructure projects for the DoD
- Familiar with corrosion control plans in accordance with DoD Instructions
- Operations Support Specialists that are:
- Highly knowledgeable in performing executive-level support services with an emphasis on the ability to effectively communicate with Senior Government, Military and industry leaders and their supporting staffs
- Able to consolidate requirements between multiple stakeholders to meet the needs of current and future customers
- Highly knowledgeable in ways to help improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of supported USSF SSC SDA&CP division missions.
- Support Services Technicians that are:
- Experienced in management of resources tied to infrastructure projects, knowledge of requirements and procedures for both classified and unclassified facilities
- In possession of at least 15 years of relevant experience, of which at least one year shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs.
- Able to provide expertise in Management, Business, Finance or Accounting,.
Duties include: Assisting the U.S. Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power (SDA&CP) and the USSF SSC Battle Management Command, Control & Communications (BMC3) organizations in:
- Assisting in developing requirements, engineering solutions, production facilities, supply chain processes; launch processes, satellite operation and communication systems, and system controls.
- Supporting acquisition budgeting, scheduling, reliability maintainability and availability, resiliency, functional integration, test and evaluation, and configuration control and change management.
- Assisting in developing and preparing program acquisition artifacts, e.g., Program Objective Memoranda (POMs), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms), and Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs), .
- Supporting planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and development methodologies and techniques
- Contributing to the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions.
- Helping with developing expert advice to the Government in the areas of relating vision, strategy, plans, needs, requirements, and process and capability developments.
