Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship and an active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Date Analytics, or Engineering
  • 8+ years of DoD, Intelligence Community, or Space Cost Estimating experience to include developing cost estimating relationships using raw data and conducting cost research efforts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the results of evaluations and analysis
  • Strong analytical skillset

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience with ACEIT a huge plus
  • 1+ years of experience in Space programs
  • Estimating software-intensive DoD programs
  • Familiarity with the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) Operating and Support Cost-Estimating Guide
  • Certified Cost Estimator/Anayst (CCE/A) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP)

Responsibilities

Position Description
  • Use parametric cost models to develop and document Operations & Sustainment (O&S) cost estimates and cost risk to gain government budgetary approval.
  • Create cost estimating relationships and methods for estimating new technologies.
  • Work with team of analysts to estimate software maintenance of major software-intensive space programs.
  • Prepare and/or analyze space program engineering technical baseline documents for content completeness and consistency with other program documents.
  • Develop and brief results and cost models to senior government leadership to enable decision making.

This position offers a full time hybrid work model that will require occasional days in the office to access and analyze classified data.  Applicants must be local to the Colorado Springs area and support a hybrid working schedule.
