Qualifications
- BA or BS degree
- 1-5 years of experience providing information assurance, system security engineering, or operational support to the DoD, including supporting information operations, cyber operations, system administration, and systems security
- Must be proficient with DOD Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies, standards, and procedures, have relevant experience with associated tools, and competence in evaluating cyber compliance with DOD regulations
- Possess Security+ CE, CAP, or other IAT/IAM DoD 8570 Information Assurance Level II Certification
- Must hold and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Navy Cyber experience is strongly desired
- MS degree in an Engineering/Cyber Security related discipline
- Experience working in an acquisition program office environment with documentation, protocols, formats, and deadlines
- Knowledgeable in Technical Information Systems Engineering, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance, ACAS, network security architectures
Responsibilities
For this critical work, we are looking for a candidate that will assist and lead the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for assigned programs, organizations, systems, or enclaves. The candidate will proactively assist with the design, development, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments. You must have the ability to work at our office in Washington, D.C. at least 2-3 days per week.
We expect you to consistently demonstrate strong attributes to quickly build competencies and provide the highest quality products and services to the PEO IWS 2.0 Cyber Security Lead and Information Systems Security Manager to ensure that Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity requirements are satisfied in accordance with applicable DOD, NIST, Department of the Navy (DON), and NAVSEA series instructions. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $90,000 – $120,000.
