Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience supporting national security issues
- Superior written and verbal communication skills to clearly, concisely, and accurately communicate with peers and senior government officials
- Ability to understand highly technical information and be able to translate that to policy makers through technical analytic products
- Experience developing analysis briefings, technical reports, and DoD Executive Memos
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired:
- Experience analyzing intelligence related to threat finance and/or critical technology areas
- Experience interfacing with the Intelligence Community and other Federal agencies
- Understanding of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and the defense industrial base
Responsibilities
The GIES Intelligence Analyst will conduct due diligence and fact-finding research on foreign direct investment, the defense industrial base supply chain, dual-use technology transfer, and other key areas to assess the implications relative to U.S. defense security interests. The ideal candidate brings experience with intelligence and open-source research within Department of Defense and an understanding of the Defense Industrial Base issues.
