Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics (with emphasis on RF/EMI/EMC)
- Active or interim secret DoD clearance.
- 3+ years of experience in theoretical or particular aspects of Navy RF sensors and systems in the areas of EMI/EMC.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with test, evaluation, and integration (TE&I) of Navy RF sensors and systems.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic & Sensor Systems Department (B).
Candidate will support the test, evaluation & integration (TE&I) efforts of Navy electromagnetic and sensor systems. Candidate must have electromagnetic environment effects (E3) engineering knowledge to include: electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic interference (EMI), EMI/EMC testing & analysis, use of Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.
Candidate must have the ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren 3 days per week on average with some travel expected (up to 15%).
