Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS or related roles.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at ensuring accuracy and data integrity in systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Understanding of HR processes and data, including payroll, benefits, talent management, and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced/growth-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work onsite at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and processes day-to-day actions in the HRIS.
  • Responds to HRIS inquiries, providing technical support, training, and guidance to users across the organization.
  • Support HRIS projects, collaborating on the planning processes and working as a key member on project teams.
  • Responds to requests for reports and conducts analysis on data to ensure data integrity
  • Stay abreast of the latest HR technology trends and innovations, recommending upgrades or new systems to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
