The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAG's support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. This enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nation's strategic resource objectives. We have an immediate need for an OSD Correspondence Manager to provide onsite support out of the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities
In support of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy and the Office of Global Investment and Economic Security, SPA has an immediate need for a Correspondence Manager. The candidate will provide program support in all areas of CFIUS correspondence to provide GIES leadership with critical assistance by preparing memorandums, integrating changes, and coordinating executive review of key CFIUS and other documents. Tasks will include managing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, supporting the Records and Information Management (RIM) Program, preparing and reviewing decision packages, and reviewing policy and DoW Issuances. In addition, the candidate will coordinate correspondence utilizing DoW's senior leadership review process, review and edit CFIUS and GIES correspondence to ensure logical flow, consistent use of terms and compliance with the usage of standards for the style, format, and appearance per the DoW Manual for Written Material (DoDM 5110.04); track staff and senior-level coordination actions through the GIES Business Operations tracker; maintain the Department's files for all CFIUS cases; and deliver approved recommendations to CFIUS. This position requires a candidate with flexibility to accommodate Senior Leader schedules.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of program administration or correspondence management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing correspondence for FO/GO/SES staff utilizing CATMS
- Ability to manage and track multiple actions in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.
Desired:
- Working knowledge of the CFIUS process
- Experience with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and processes
- Experience with DoW Records and Information Management (RIM) Program
Pay Range Information

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $130,000.00/Yr.
