Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
- A good understanding of concepts related to external situations used in a lab environment, internal simulations used in a stand-alone training environment such as Embedded Training, ITEx, ITEx UI, and Scenario changes (including Defense Plans, ITEx Scenarios, ATO & ACO updates).
- The ability to create and maintain a prioritized product backlog of user stories and tasks.
- The ability to work directly with the Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.
- Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.
- A minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
- US citizenship and an active SECRET security clearance, and the ability to maintain the clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience with/knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS preferred.
- The ability to “move out” and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm, independent critical thinking, and a team attitude.
- Experience in JIRA/Confluence.
- Possess an Agilist Certification.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms.
- Working with Program Management to set priorities for new capabilities and defects.
- Providing guidance to the MST-2 team for each Program Increment (PI) and Sprint.
- Supporting the team in the development of acceptance criteria for MST-2 tasks and stories, as well as being responsible for the verification of work performed by the MST-2 team.
- The position will include technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership.
- Reporting on status; recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission
- Other duties as assigned.
