Our Financial Management & Business Analysis Portfolio supports the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC); the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) Financial Management and Comptroller (FM&C); the U.S. Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM); the Defense Health Agency (DHA); and many other DoD customers. We ensure the Army FM systems and processes are modernized and integrated to provide a complete range of financial and cost information needed for the Army to conduct business transactions, provide accountability to the public, and to support performance reporting and decision making. We provide effective functional systems support, user technical support, training support, and governance support of the Army's modernized and deployed FM domain ERP systems (GFEBS / GFEBS-SA / GCSS-A (Finance)), ensuring technological capabilities maturation and evolution aligns with Army and FM domain goals and objectives.  

We are looking for a Program Analyst (Property Management) to join our team to support the Army's Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires' Integrated Fires Directorate (IFD). 


Responsibilities

  • Provide property management, equipment accountability, logistics, and organizational support across IFD.
  • Manage and track government property and equipment from acquisition and assignment through transfer, inventory, recovery, disposition, and closeout.
  • Coordinate property accountability actions across government and contractor personnel.
  • Support organizational moves, equipment transfers, inventories, excess property actions, and reconciliation of property records.
  • Support IT equipment, classified equipment, office equipment, technical equipment, and other government property assigned to IFD personnel and organizations.
  • Work closely with IFD leadership, property personnel, supply organizations, contracting personnel, government and contractor employees, and other PAE Fires organizations to maintain accurate accountability and ensure property actions are completed in accordance with applicable Army and DoD requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Possess an active DoD SECRET clearance 
  • 3-10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree 
  • Experience in property management, logistics, equipment accountability, supply, administrative support, or related DoD activities
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and track equipment and property actions
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple organizations and personnel to resolve property and accountability issues
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and common data tracking tools
  • Ability to work in the Huntsville, Alabama area and support the IFD mission in person five days per week, eight hours per day. Telework is by exception based on mission requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Army property accountability processes
  • Familiarity with DPAS, GCSS-Army, GPC, or other Army property and logistics systems
  • Experience managing or tracking classified equipment
  • Experience supporting organizational moves and equipment transfers
  • Experience working with government contractors and DoD organizations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
