Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Active SECRET or higher DoD security clearance
  • 15-20 years of experience in Systems Engineering
  • 10 + years of experience in defense acquisition programs
  • Direct experience supporting either requirements development and management activities
  • Direct experience in executing Systems Engineering Technical Management Processes including technical planning, technical assessment, and risk management
  • Experience in supporting multi-discipline working groups to support Systems Engineering activities

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Navy SSP Systems Engineering processes
  • Active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance
  • Master's Degree in a related field
  • Preference for experience working with Jira, Confluence, and Cameo Systems Modeler


Responsibilities

Support Navy SSP in planning, coordination, and execution of systems engineering activities leading to Systems Engineering technical reviews and supporting the Systems Engineering team for the Trident II (D5) Program.  Provide executive support for the Systems Engineering Management Team for SSP to coordinate activies and tasks executed for the Systems Engineering development processes.  Provide systems engineering advise and assistance to the Government team regarding the execution of systems engineering functions and processes, review documentation and work products for the Government team, and evaluate technical information, program execution, and program risks across the Trident II (D5) systems engineering program.  Coordinate execution of critical Systems Engineering Technical Management Processes and Technical Processes including requirements development, architecture development, interface coordination, technical planning, technical assessment, risk management, and decision management.
