The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. SPA's Strategic Division's Regional Strike Systems Group (RSSG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. RSSG is hiring immediately for a Technical Analyst in the Washington, DC (Maritime Plaza) supporting the Nuclear-Armed, Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Program. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington D.C. Pay Transparency Salary range: $100,000 - $145,000. Responsibilities Support of program wide activities including risk management, decision management, configuration management, and schedule management. Coordinating Systems Requirements Reviews, System Functional Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Production Readiness Reviews, Design Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, Program Reviews, and other program-related meetings and reviews. Help develop plans of action and timetables in order to meet established deadlines, and assist in the development of acquisition documentation, program reports, technical documentation, detailed procedures, and memos. Recommend solutions to resolve technical challenges that can occur due to dynamic changes in characteristics, approach, criteria, and requirements. Gather and disseminate information, facilitate client engagements, develop and maintain planning tools, prepare reports and presentations, and present results to stakeholders throughout the client organization. Work closely with engineers, subject-matter experts, functional teams, and senior leadership planning the coordination of efforts and report development. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline. 3-4 years of experience in one or more of the following: aerospace/defense systems engineering, missile systems, or Navy submarine programs. Able to work fully onsite based on client needs. Demonstrated experience coordinating development activities associated with engineering systems, capabilities, and activities. Desired Qualifications: Able to effectively communicate and exchange information with peers and senior personnel; good oral and written communication skills. Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence. Experience with Navy program offices.
