Shipping & Receiving Clerk performs routine and non-routine warehouse duties by following written processes to receive, verify, and ship components to the customer.     

Responsibilities 

• Safely operate one or more types of lift trucks to load/unload trailers and transport materials to and from production and support departments understanding 
• Works with the Purchasing Department to prioritize receipts and correct receiving problems such as no P.O. number, early receipt, invalid part number, and/or incorrect quantity.
• Initiates required paperwork (RMA) for returning product for some suppliers.
• Maintains accurate accounting of transactions and posts activity through manual methods or computer system.
• This employee off-loads and loads trailers, moves material within the warehouse and assists in other warehouse activities, as directed.
• Helps with inspection of incoming material as needed.
• Unloads and receive burden material.
• Required to cycle count inventory in order to ensure inventory accuracy. Involved with year-end inventory audit.
• Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company
