POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this position will perform general tasks in the sales and marketing area, focusing on working with customer needs, scheduling, expediting and overall customer service. This position will include 50% internal customer facing and 50% external customer facing.    

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Update customer account information. 
  • Update the customer portal and website product offering and pricing as needed.
  • Input customer orders and update orders to record the work that was done and invoice amount.
  • Answer customer calls and emails promptly.
  • Assist customers with the ordering process.
  • Update status on past due orders and report on-time delivery for each account.
  • Work with Account managers to update sales performance scorecards.
  • Input sales orders for weekly staff meetings.
  • Customer outbound calls.
  • Confer with customers by telephone or in person in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders or cancel accounts, or to obtain details of complaints.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills.
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
  • Contact customers in order to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, and/or arrange for billing.
  • Analyze trends of customer orders and assist sales and scheduling department in forecasting.
  • Analyze on-hand inventory at SRC Tech Group and at customer locations to determine potential sales or impacts on future sales.
  • Participate in Sales & Marketing Mid Year and Year End presentation preparation.
  • Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company.
  • Required to follow safety standards. Required to wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
  • Work attendance must be exemplary.
