SS&C Advent, a leading provider of award-winning software and services for the global investment management industry, is seeking a talented Implementation Consultant with expertise on Private Credit and CLO, to support SS&C Geneva enterprise application. Blend financial industry knowledge with functional skills while implementing Geneva, SS&C Advent's revolutionary global portfolio accounting application.

Description

Job Responsibilities   

• Conduct client site and remote implementations of Geneva, including workflow review, setup and hands-on functional and technical training.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to anticipate and address client needs.
• Design and document front-to-back architecture of operational processes for clients. 
• Lead and assist clients with specific Geneva configuration, testing and user training. 
• Configure and automate products to optimize client workflows.
• Travel to clients as needed. 
• Manage time to maximize agenda and delivery of critical components.
• Execute on planned implementation tasks to maximize client satisfaction.
• Communicate project status to client and SS&C project managers.
• Build conversion and system integration mapping tools.
• Assist clients in the reconciliation process using Geneva.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years client experience in the financial services industry is required.
• Subject Matter Expertise on Bank Loan and Private Credit with front to back operational, accounting and reporting processes.
• Expert knowledge with CLO cash management, operations and reporting requirements. 
• Accounting and financial expertise in converting balance sheet and income statements.
• Solid working knowledge of hedge and private equity fund accounting.

• Ability to effectively and efficiently manage time to maximize productivity.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently by gathering information from a variety of sources to acquire the knowledge needed to complete assigned tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to present information to both technical and nontechnical individuals. 
• Ability to gain credibility quickly while engaging clients.
• Ability to be self-directed and work independently.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
