Job Title: Healthcare Certification Project Manager

Locations: Kansas City, MO | Hybrid 6x a month

We are seeking a Healthcare disciplined Project Manager to strengthen SS&C Health's privacy program and Certification objectives. This role will work with support from the Compliance and IT organizations, in leading the project management effort including all scheduling, tracking of activities, requirements traceability, resource oversight, escalation, and reporting on current activity as well overall security and privacy initiatives in the future.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Lead Compliance projects managing scope, timelines, risks and budgets to ensure successful alignment with evolving regulatory and certification requirements.
  • Drive Project success by providing strategic direction cross-functional coordination, and proactive issue resolution in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Manage relationships with third party assessor organizations, leading all aspects of HITRUST Certification activities including vetting, gap analysis, remediation planning and execution.
  • Oversee Security and Privacy control areas, guiding teams through gap analysis, remediation efforts, and corrective action activities in preparation for certification.
  • Serve as a key liaison between internal teams, clients, and external assessors, maintaining and collaborative approach throughout all phases of the compliance lifecycle.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with key healthcare regulations and standards such as HIPAA and ISO, while supporting operational continuity across all project phases.
  • Monitor and report project progress, including detailed timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables. Provide regular updates, data-driven insights and metrics to stakeholders and leadership.

What You Will Bring:

  • 4+ years of project management experience, with 2+ years in healthcare/hospital IT environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Information Systems, or related field
  • Drive Project success by providing strategic direction cross-functional coordination, and proactive issue resolution in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Manage relationships with third party assessor organizations, leading all aspects of HITRUST Certification activities including vetting, gap analysis, remediation planning and execution.
