The SS&C Dublin Fund Accounting Department includes over 20 experienced professionals, servicing multiple client types including UCITS, Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds and Managed Accounts throughout the globe. The majority of clients manage Funds domiciled in Ireland, Luxembourg, and Cayman and would deal in all security types from standard listed equities to more complex OTC instruments and loan servicing. What You Will Get To Do:
SS&C Financial Services are seeking candidates with a strong fund accounting background to perform a Manager Role in its Dublin office based in the International Financial Services Centre. The position involves proactively owning a number of key client relationships. Successful candidates would also be expected to build strong working relationships with their peers within the organisation and interact closely with Depositaries, Auditors, Fund Boards, the CBI and other key internal and external stakeholders.
The role also involves managing managers of teams of Fund Accountants based both in Dublin and India. Successful candidates would also be expected to participate in and potentially own a number of strategically focused projects. Here are some of the key duties below:
- Ensuring that all Client NAV deliverables for a team are completed and delivered on time, to the highest standard and in line with service level agreements and procedures.
- Ensuring that the Client continually receives a high quality service and that positive client scores are maintained.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our service and value proposition for our clients.
- Day to day management of Dublin and Indian Teams in relation to all client and internal deliverables.
- Ensure staff adhere to standard operating procedures and controls.
- Ensuring effective oversight of the Indian teams and monitoring of KPI's in line with regulatory requirements.
- Co-ordination and planning of NAV deliverables, financial statements and tax work to ensure that all client requirements are met.
- Oversee the Professional Development of direct reports.
- Represent fund accounting on key global strategic initiatives where required.
- Ability to build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ownership of any required Regulatory Reporting.
What You Will Bring:
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience in an operations environment.
- 3+ year's management experience.
- Professional Qualifications preferred (ACCA, CA, CAIA, CFA, and CIMA).
- Proven track record in Fund Accounting or a similar role in the Funds industry production and review of NAV calculations.
- Excellent knowledge of Hedge Funds including the different fund structures and instrument types.
- Knowledge of Irish Funds and associated reporting a distinct advantage. Irish DAC (SPV) experience would be a major plus but not essential.
- Experience with financial statements preparation and review preferred.
- Strong client relationship management and networking skills is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight internal and client deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
