What You Will Get To Do:

A Project Manager with proven experience delivering initiatives within fund accounting and unit pricing environments, combining strong financial domain expertise, communication skills, and technical systems knowledge. This role acts as a key bridge between finance and technology teams to successfully deliver complex change across investment and funds management operations.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver critical finance-focused projects within SS&C Bluedoor. The role is responsible for the end-to-end management of project delivery, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, with a particular focus on financial systems, operational processes, and transformation initiatives.

This role will be hired on a 2-year Fixed Term Contract.

  • Lead and manage all phases of finance stream projects from initiation through to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenditure and ensuring financial objectives are met.

  • Monitor project progress, prepare regular status reports, and present updates to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Ensure adherence to SS&C Bluedoor's project management methodologies, standards, and governance.

  • Oversee the successful implementation and integration of new financial systems or processes.

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.

  • Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically within the finance sector or managing finance-related projects.

  • Strong understanding of financial processes, systems (e.g., accounting, reporting, general ledger), and regulatory requirements.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other recognised project management certification is highly desirable.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
