Job Description
Working collaboratively as part of an Agile team to develop and deploy RPA automations across the business unit to help drive operational efficiency and quality targets.
The Process Automation Team is responsible for delivering strategic projects to reengineer business processes and drive higher levels of service for clients. These projects touch on all key parts of the trading lifecycle, from reengineering of dealing processing and settlement to rejection of instruction back to customers and reporting on to Asset Managers.
Over time there is the potential for the automations to integrate with AI, NLP and Chat bot technologies currently being deployed in other areas of the business.
Specific Duties:
Develop and deploy automations using the appropriate tools which adhere to core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand
Maintain individual specialisation, but cross trained and able to participate in projects using multiple technologies
Ensure change control processes are followed on all initiatives and documentation is created/updated for initiatives delivered
Create technical development and release documents to complement the design and requirement documents provided by the Analysis team
Write test scripts and test functions for developed tools, complete initial / functional QC as well as troubleshooting UAT / volume testing
Complete Full Unit testing as well as troubleshooting QA / SIT / UAT / volume testing
Work with senior / technical specialist to support and coordinate peer code reviews to ensure necessary standards have been adhered to and feedback is acted upon

Technical Skills:
Degree or equivalent, or proven practical experience in a similar role considered
Experience with coding languages such as C# and/or Java, HTML, CSS, VB .NET, SQL Server, VBA
Excellent planning, organisational and reporting skills
Track record of taking a pragmatic and innovative approach
Desirable
Knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies
Customer Service experience
Experience of Lean/Six Sigma project identification and delivery
Experience working on Agile projects
