SS&C GlobeOp is actively expanding its UAE Sales team and is looking for a dynamic, motivated and results-driven candidate who is eager to make an immediate impact for a fast-growing company.  The role will be based in Abu Dhabi.

SS&C GlobeOp provides best-in-class solutions to the global financial services industry, offering the broadest range of software and outsourcing services to some of the world's largest asset managers, real estate firms, commercial lenders, insurance companies, pension funds and alternative investment managers.

SS&C GlobeOp is looking for a Senior Sales Director based in Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Head of SS&C GlobeOp International Sales, to cover both the domestic market and UAE region.  The individual will have primary responsibility for selling SS&C's full range of solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed knowledge of the UAE fund services sector, existing contacts across multiple verticals and their advisors/influencers.  In addition to selling products and services, the individual will be key to further developing SS&C's solutions in the region.   

What you will get to do:

  • Responsible for strategic direction of the business throughout the region and growing the sales team local presence.
  • Generate new business opportunities through a variety of methods, including calling, marketing campaigns, industry events and conferences.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of short-term, medium- and long-term opportunities within Alternatives. (Private Equity, Real Assets, Private & Public Debt, Hedge Funds, Asset Owners).
  • Qualify potential prospects quickly to determine their suitability for a particular SS&C solution.
  • Track all sales activities and touchpoints in SS&C's CRM system to ensure timely, accurate and complete information is represented on sales and management reporting. Be prepared to explain and defend all reported activities.
  • Prepare for all prospect engagements with strong attention to detail, including discovery calls, on-site and virtual presentations, product demonstrations, follow-up meetings, etc. There must be a well-thought-out strategy and execution plan for each and every prospect interaction.
  • Follow up on all prospect engagements in a timely manner.
  • Manage all aspects of a complex sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature.
  • Create professional presentations, proposals and sales collateral for meetings with the C-level that sets a very high bar for competitors to meet.
  • Pursue and build strong industry relationships with clients, prospects and influencers, and expand your professional network in the insurance sector.
  • Prepare detailed write-ups on prospects that include a well-defined strategy, tactics and prospect backgrounds to ensure internal resources and subject matter experts are prepared and briefed for sales presentations.
  • Facilitate the completion of Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Identify and differentiate decision makers, influencers and gate keepers.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of prospects.

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services sales (preferably fund services)
  • Significant relationships with CFO/COO's and key intermediary influencers such as Trustees, consultants, law firms.
  • Demonstrable leadership, communication, relationship, and team skills
  • High level of comfort preparing and leading client presentations
  • Significant degree of self-motivation, direction and integrity.
  • Experience working closely with senior-level management
