What You Will Get to Do:
- Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with SS&C's overall business objectives, identifying new opportunities and driving innovation within your area of responsibility.
- Team Management & Development - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Operational Excellence - Oversee the day-to-day operations of your department, ensuring efficient workflows, adherence to best practices, and the delivery of high-quality solutions and services. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and senior leadership. Represent SS&C effectively in various forums and negotiations.
- Financial Management - Manage departmental budgets, resources, and forecasts, ensuring financial prudence and achieving budgetary targets. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Risk Management & Compliance - Ensure all operations and initiatives comply with relevant industry regulations, company policies, and risk management frameworks. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Project & Program Oversight - Provide senior-level oversight for critical projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and achievement of desired outcomes.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree (MBA) highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in the financial technology (FinTech) industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management or director-level role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating large, diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Deep understanding of financial services operations, investment management, or relevant FinTech solutions, depending on the specific department.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex strategic plans, analyze market trends, and make sound business decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior executives, clients, and large audiences. Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Strong understanding of relevant technologies and their application within the financial services industry.
