What You Will Get To Do:

The Senior Manager – Strategic Client Governance and Operational Oversight play a critical role in ensuring strong governance, control, and oversight of end-to-end operational delivery for the Transfer Agency business's most strategic clients. Reporting to the Head of Governance, Oversight, and Offshore Relations, this role is responsible for maintaining robust control frameworks, overseeing operational performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and risk management requirements.

By providing tailored governance assurance and operational oversight, the role safeguards service integrity, mitigates operational risk, and drives continuous improvement across key processes. It is instrumental in maintaining client confidence, meeting audit and regulatory expectations, and strengthening effective management of onshore and offshore delivery partners in line with governance standards and strategic client needs.

  • Provide governance oversight for strategic client operational delivery, ensuring contractual obligations, SLAs, and regulatory requirements are consistently met.

  • Maintain and enhance monitoring and assurance frameworks to assess service performance, operational risk, and control effectiveness.

  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting on service delivery metrics, risks, and issues to senior management, governance committees, and clients.

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders and onshore/offshore delivery teams to ensure consistent execution of client service processes.

  • Support day-to-day operational oversight of strategic client accounts, enabling timely issue identification and structured resolution.

  • Participate in client governance forums, providing assurance on service delivery, controls, and risk management.

  • Prepare and present client-facing governance and performance reports as part of regular service reviews.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Client Relationship Managers to align governance frameworks with client expectations and contractual commitments.

  • Track, analyse, and report on KPIs and SLAs, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support risk assessments, audits, and control reviews, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and embedded.

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in operations, governance, or risk management within financial services, asset servicing, or Transfer Agency environments.

  • Proven track record in operational transformation, governance implementation, and risk management initiatives.

  • Demonstrated experience providing client service oversight for institutional clients, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to governance frameworks.

  • Strong knowledge of Transfer Agency operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Deep understanding of governance frameworks, performance monitoring, and operational risk mitigation.

  • Ability to analyse performance data, identify trends, and drive continuous process improvements.

  • Experience managing complex, multi-location service delivery models, including offshore teams.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across internal teams and client-facing forums.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities in complex operational environments.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across geographies, fostering collaboration and alignment.

  • Confident presenter with the ability to communicate governance, risk, and performance insights to senior management and clients.
