- Own and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Lead release planning cycles including calendars, cutover planning, and deployment readiness assessments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of release commitments.
- Conduct release risk assessments and enforce governance and change management controls.
- Oversee incident management, post-release validation, and continuous improvement actions.
- Act as the escalation point for release blockers, environment constraints, and conflicting priorities.
- Drive standardisation, optimisation, and automation of release processes and tooling.
- Provide clear communication and reporting on release status, risks, and impacts.
- Lead governance forums and represent Release Management in CAB meetings.
- Extensive experience in Release Management, DevOps, or technical delivery roles.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stream enterprise releases.
- Experience with governance frameworks, risk management, and change controls.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure release windows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, and security controls.
- Exposure to environment governance, versioning, and release automation.
- Experience supporting audit, regulatory, and operational risk requirements.
- Background in high-paced, regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior release managers.
