What You Will Get To Do

As a Digital Software Test Lead, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans for manual and automated testing across multiple projects.
  • Ensure testing standards, processes, and methodologies are consistent and aligned across the Product and Innovation team.
  • Lead and manage a team of manual and automation testers, providing mentorship and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Oversee resource allocation, performance reviews, and career development for testing team members.
  • Drive automated test script development, execution, and maintenance using industry-standard tools.
  • Conduct manual testing for complex scenarios and edge cases where automation is not applicable.
  • Perform regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product quality.
  • Track and report on defects, test coverage, and quality metrics to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and integrate CI/CD practices into testing processes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and best practices, recommending improvements and enhancing automation coverage.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience as a Software Test Lead or Senior QA Engineer with expertise in manual and automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test design techniques, and test management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG) and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of testers, including resource allocation and performance management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Prior Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly testing financial software products.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and performance testing tools.
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing.
