What You Will Get To Do:
This role (based in Taiwan) will be focused on a cross-functional Asia Service Desk to deliver our Fund Services operational activities supporting our business in Asia and/or Taiwan.
In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the service desk teams in Taiwan including for our offshore and/or onshore funds Transfer Agency clients with Taiwan based distribution requirements. The role will also have a strong focus on the development and maintenance of client relationships, distributor and investor relationship management as well as execution of day-to-day processing and strategic initiatives in order to grow the business and meet organizational goals across the Taiwan region for our offshore/onshore clients
Additional responsibilities:
- Management of the service desk team including hiring, training and overall resource monitoring
- Perform regular review processes and appraisals of the team
- Monitor service level standards and provide senior management with reporting as well as maintain an environment where processes and controls are monitored
- To be point of escalation for clients, following up in case of issues with service delivery. Ensuring timely reporting and escalation of any incidents.
- Work with Client and SS&C teams to ensure customer satisfaction and ensure internal stakeholders and Directors are aware of any potential areas of concern.
- Work closely with groups internally to deliver client specific projects as well as wider projects in the region ensuring adherence to internal policy and standards.
- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Transfer Agency Funds operations activities
- Maintain and update investor records in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Process subscriptions, redemptions, transfer, and other shareholder transactions accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Perform KYC/AML checks and ensure compliance with local and European regulations.
- Handle all APAC enquiries and other investor-related distributions
- Respond to investor and client inquires promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and review reports for clients, management, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with internal team (fund accounts, compliance, legal) and external stakeholders.
- Identify process improvement and contribute to automation initiatives.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections as required.
- Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned
- Work closely with all relevant department to improve product operations for existing and future workflow/model.
What You Will Bring:
- Operational Expertise: Strong experience in Transfer Agency Funds operations, including transaction processing, record maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements and relevant fund regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and develop a team, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a collaborative environment. A good understanding of the client service model, business strategy, structure and product offerings.
- Client Relationship Management: Skilled in handling investor and client inquiries with professionalism and building long-team relationships.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues, resolve discrepancies, and improve processes.
Preferred Experience:
- +15 years of Fund Services experience with focus in Transfer Agency Funds roles
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Transfer Agency Funds processes and deliverables
- Proven high performance track record within operational teams
- Strong leadership with people management experience
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin – must be fluency)
- Strong background in handling complex investor queries and maintain client relationships.
- Abilit to demonstrate high risk awareness, operational control, problem solving and process improvement experience
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment where accuracy is critical
- Experience with both local and international asset management firms or finance industry
