Description
As a Legal Intern, you'll work within Stifel's legal department, gaining practical experience in a corporate legal environment. This role will involve supporting various legal initiatives, conducting research, drafting documents, and working closely with legal professionals to help Stifel maintain high standards of compliance with laws and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Conduct research, staying up-to-date with industry trends and compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and agreements under supervision.
- Work with compliance professionals to support Stifel's regulatory initiatives and ensure adherence to internal policies.
- Collaborate with various business units to understand their legal needs and provide insights into legal implications.
What You'll Bring
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, write professionally, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Education & Experience
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Pre-Law, Business, or a related field with a strong interest in attending law school. Completion of at least one year of college required.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
