Stifel's Corporate Accounting Department plays a vital role within the organization, overseeing critical financial functions and ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. The Payroll Intern within Stifel's Corporate Accounting Department will gain valuable hands-on experience, develop practical accounting skills, and contribute to overall financial well-being of the organization.

• Assist with reviewing payroll information and reports for accuracy.
• Help maintain payroll records and support documentation.
• Support payroll reporting and basic reconciliation activities.
• Assist with gathering and organizing documentation for audits and other department needs.
• Help research payroll questions and resolve basic discrepancies.
• Support various payroll projects and daily administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Payroll team members and other departments as needed.

• Interest in learning about payroll, accounting, and business operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum Required: Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 1 year of college completed.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
