The Opportunity

Tetra Tech, an industry leader in engineering and consulting, is seeking candidates for a full-time Air Quality Program Lead position at NASA Stennis Space Center. This role will require daily interaction with NASA personnel and oversight of air quality compliance activities.

Your Role:

•    Serve as the lead for the Air Quality Program, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to air emissions management.
•    Coordinate all activities related to air quality compliance including inspections, monitoring, and reporting.
•    Conduct inspections and assessments of air emission sources and pollution control equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
•    Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations and compliance documentation.
•    Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel regarding air quality issues and compliance requirements.
•    Develop and deliver training programs on air quality compliance for staff and stakeholders.
•    Maintain accurate records of air quality compliance activities and ensure documentation is up to date.

 Qualifications:

•    Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering, science, or related field is required.
•    8+ years of direct experience with air emissions management is required.
•    Knowledge of Mississippi environmental regulations is required.
•    Knowledge of NASA environmental guidelines, systems, and processes is preferred.
•    Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing
•    Must be detail oriented to properly document all environmental compliance activities occurring across the contract.  

.This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.
