Tetra Tech is looking for full time and part time temporary Construction Technicians who will perform tasks involving heavy equipment operations at various sites. Shall have the ability to operate safely, efficiently, and effectively wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and compaction equipment.  This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Your Role:

May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, excavate pits, install shoring and other trench safety apparatuses, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers.
•    Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines.
•    Help other equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
•    Prep construction/remediation sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
•    Load or unload construction materials and debris.
•    Put together and take apart temporary structures and apparatuses in support of construction and remediation tasks
•    Remove, fill, transport, or compact earth.
•    Follow instructions from supervisors.
•    Assist craft workers.
•    Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
•    Perform site clean-up.
Salary range is between $31-35 per hour

Qualifications:

:  A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the construction and remediation industry, preferred. •  

 Must have valid driver license in good standing. Commercial Class A License preferred.

•    Minimum of 2 years with operating construction equipment.
•    Be at least 18 years of age.
•    Workers must be punctual and reliable.
