Tech2 Solutions (T2S) is a critical subcontractor on the N3B Los Alamos LLC team and will be providing program management and technical services in support of the ground & surface water monitoring program at the U.S. Department of Energy's Los Alamos National Laboratory.

 

T2S is a full-service engineering and environmental consulting company with a worldwide reach in the areas of environmental monitoring and remediation, national security, systems engineering, data management and analytics for both federal and commercial customers. 

 

T2S is seeking a Groundwater Monitoring Team Lead to support the N3B Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract (LLCC). This position involves overseeing daily operations and ensuring all activities are performed safely, securely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The Team Lead will manage personnel, resources, and materials to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of project tasks.

 

Your Role:

·         Oversee the daily implementation of a large-scale, site-wide groundwater monitoring project, including waste/purge water management and equipment maintenance.

·         Coordinate staffing and activities to ensure work assignments are scheduled, priorities are set, and team members are closely directed.

·         Evaluate and verify task completion through the review of completed work assignments.

·         Maintain project work-site compliance with applicable health, safety, fire, and environmental codes and regulations; initiate corrective actions as needed.

·         Provide notifications to other departments regarding planned activities and coordinate support needs to avoid adverse impacts on project schedules, scope, or budgets.

·         Coordinate staff schedules to ensure operational hours coverage.

·         Handle procurement requests for supplies and equipment.

·         Contribute to the development of long-range budget and planning information.

·         Resolve issues related to the successful conduct of operations.

·         Ensure staff adherence to required safety and quality programs.

·         Interact with T2S staff and management, and coordinate with N3B Operations staff on fieldwork logistics.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

·         Ability to perform critical strategic tasks and develop plans to meet broad strategic requirements.

·         Ability to significantly impact organizational success and productivity, with broad latitude for independent judgment.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         Ability to train and mentor junior staff.

·         Recognized as an expert within a specialty and highly knowledgeable within the broader discipline.

·         Advanced reasoning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work in a team-oriented project environment.

·         Familiarity with the LANL site, access requirements, and work environment is preferred.

·         A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.

·         Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

 

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent, and 5 years of related experience.

·         A combination of education and relevant experience demonstrating the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.

·         The career level of the position will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (Moderate Work):

·         Regularly required to talk or hear, with a noise level typically quiet to moderate.

·         Physical demands include exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

·         Carrying up to 35 pounds while hiking is also required.

·         Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

·         Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

·         Specific vision abilities include close vision and distance vision.

 

General:
