JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Analyze and design MS Access application features to ensure that customers' needs are met.
  • Propose and design financial software applications based on the analysis to be performed.
  • Modify or create new user interfaces (forms) in MS Access, create and modify stored procedures and queries.
  • Recommend software upgrades and enhancements for existing financial software systems.
  • Develop software solutions that integrate with Oracle ERP accounting module for automation of transactions uploading, invoice generation, billing extracts, consolidation of data and adjustments to cost and revenue budgets as necessary.
  • Develop automation software solutions for the invoicing reconciliation to guarantee accuracy.
  • Provide software support and access control for various financial SharePoint web applications including accrual estimates, annual operating plan, and financial reporting.  
  • Troubleshoot VBA code and stored procedures/queries.
  • Design and implement continual application testing processes.
  • Develop documentation for the software tools created including interfaces, diagrams, and codes.
  • Maintain various in-house financial web-based tools and operational software.
  • Lead the software development and support function for all project accounting responsibilities in support of Navy CLEAN 9008 contract encompassing over 200 active projects valued at $50M annually.
  • Develop web based analysis tools using software systems including Power BI/SQL Server Management Studio/MS Access/Visual Studio.
  • Engineer software solutions that automate the calculation of indirect rate adjustments in accordance with client and DCAA requirements.
  • Provide software support for the secure bulk invoice file transfer between company and Navy PIEE (Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment) system through FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and troubleshoot any related problems.
  • Engineer software solutions to calculate  earned award fee by project (CTO) by AF period.
  • Develop software solution to automate  the process of preparation of Annual Cost Accounting Claim submitted to the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
  • Develop software tools to automate preparation and compilation of cost data to produce quarterly Project Evaluations in compliance with requirements of Policy 100. 
  •  Engineer software tools to support both internal and external audits.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering and 6 years of experience in job offered or 6 years of experience in Related Occupation  

RELATED OCCUPATION:

2 years of experience as a MS Access/VBA Developer or any other job title performing the following  job  duties:

1.    Analyzing and designing MS Access application features to ensure that customers' needs are met.

2.    Modifying or creating new user interfaces (forms) in MS Access, creating and modifying stored procedures and queries.

3.    Troubleshooting VBA code and stored procedures/queries.

4.    Designing and implementing continual application testing processes.

5.    Propose and design financial software applications based on the analysis to be performed.

6.    Recommend software upgrades and enhancements for existing financial software systems.

7.    Maintain various in-house financial web-based tools and operational software.

8.    Lead the software development and support function for all project accounting responsibilities in support of Navy CLEAN 9008 contract encompassing over 200 active projects valued at $50M annually.

4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or any other job title performing the following job duties:

1.    Program management for Digital Transformation key pillar program in the Mobile Department.

2.    Drafting charters for the required automation initiatives supporting automation & innovation strategy.

3.    Acting as a subject matter expert with software vendors (M/s Comarch , M/s BMC Remedy), IT & Automation department in order to translate the department requirements & the analyzed processes into software solutions.

4.    Alignment between different stakeholders to achieve the program goal to automate all the workforce tasks & processes.

5.    Developing from scratch, maintaining, troubleshooting & enhancing the following in-house automation solution to act as a transition period till the implementation of the final solution.

6.    Automation of reports for Etisalat management up to CTO level, including deep analysis of Mobile Network Department running projects. With related trends, weekly/ monthly progress and deviation indicators based on Mobile Projects users live updates.

7.    Automation of KPls monitoring, capturing all mobile programs/projects deviation and providing change request recommendation whenever applicable.

8.    Implementation of Warehouse Inventory System with a complete workflow to handle the equipment releasing/receiving cycle, starting from initiation of request moving through required approvals till warehouse bar-code scanning & closure.

9.    Creation of graphical insights & related dashboards with illustrative animations to give management a better & simpler view on the department performance.
