Your Role:

Tetra Tech's Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery Division (TDR) is seeking an experienced Logistics Distribution Supervisorto support multiple disaster recovery projects in Maitland, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in logistics and resource management, warehouse and inventory management and project planning.

  • Serve as logistics inventory manager on TDR response and recovery projects and coordinate with Project Managers on forecasting resource needs and timelines.

  • Lead and oversee scheduled and physical inventory counts, ensure audit readiness through comprehensive documentation and reporting. Investigate, identify, and reconcile inventory discrepancies. 

  • Perform additional logistics functions such as resource tracking, procurement, and travel coordination during periods of post-disaster emergency response/recovery.

  • Maintain inventory performance metrics and dashboards to support executive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Conduct daily analyses of inventory to forecast documenting potential inventory shortage for field equipment.

  • Manage daily operational procedures for established work, provide and document recommendations for improvement and efficiency. 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented.

  • Lead coordination of shipping, tracking and return of field logistics equipment for multiple on-going projects.

  • Provide guidance, mentorship and leadership to inventory clerks, warehouse staff, or temporary personnel during inventory activities or special projects.

  • Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics and resource management, warehouse inventory management, program management or project management.
  • Strong ERP experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Strong understanding of planning processes and principles with the ability to forecast and maintain accurate project needs.
  • Must be a team player and can effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The selected candidate must embrace change
  • Adaptability to respond quickly to adjustments to initiatives and priorities; organizational skills and flexibility to maintain multiple priorities.
  • Ability to travel on short notice to project sites across the nation as required.
