Description

We're seeking a Senior Structural Technician (Revit) to join our Structures team in Auckland, playing a key role in delivering structural projects across a variety of sectors.

As Senior Structural Technician, you will be responsible for defining and leading project delivery strategies across a variety of projects, including Revit setup, modelling standards, and digital workflows.

You will oversee project delivery from initial setup, coordination and through to construction, ensuring alignment with both client and company standards. Collaboration will be key as you work across disciplines and geographies to promote integrated delivery and drive innovation.

A strong advocate for learning and development, you will support standardisation and performance within the team. You will also support project resourcing offshore and play a role in shaping workflows, technology, and intellectual property within the NDY Structures group.

Responsibilities:

  • Using Revit, you will model and document structural systems including reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, steel framing, precast elements and mass timber.
  • Collaborate with structural engineers and the broader design team to produce coordinated structural models and detailed documentation across all project stages.
  • Leading project delivery from concept design through to construction, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Contributing to the implementation and improvement of Revit systems, processes, and standards, including Revit templates, Revit family's and refinement of typical details and general notes.
  • Assist leading, mentoring, and coordinating a team of offshore technicians to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of structural documentation.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 8-10 years Revit experience and knowledge of BIM workflows.
  • Strong consulting industry experience, ideally on large complex building projects, leading project delivery from concept design through to construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate structural digital delivery with other disciplines.
  • Knowledge in structural design, analysis, BIM software and a solid understanding of ANZ digital delivery standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and team development.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and drive innovation.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Structural Design.
