Primary Responsibilities:- Working on different process, compression, and metering equipment used in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oilfield.
- Troubleshooting as well as making modifications and repairs to pneumatic panels.
- Installing, calibrating and troubleshooting pneumatic instrumentation including valves, actuators, controllers, pressure regulators, etc.
- Performing pressure/leak testing on tubing.
- Effectively generating and communicating detailed work records and paperwork.
- Proficient in modifications and understanding of schematics and drawings including P&ID's.
- Well versed in the operation and function of various pneumatic instrumentation.
- Ability to work safely and recognize potential hazards.
- Ability to handle pressure and possess positive leadership in difficult or challenging situations.
- Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, with the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
- Strong problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
- Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an I&E Technician.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Instrumentation experience in the Industrial oil and gas industry.
- Experienced in all phases of a project for the installation of Instrumentation.
- Applicable regulatory safety training.
- Full-time position that is subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others. Need to be fit for duty.
- Subject to a background check as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
- Schedule will be 14 days on and 14 days off.
