Tetra Tech Inc., is seeking professional, motivated, and intelligent candidates to fill a Part-Time Senior Program Manager position supporting our Department of Defense Strategic Growth initiatives within Southern California and the Pacific Region.  This position will support the strategy, business development, capture, and execution of engineering, asset management, and planning projects/proposals for DoD clients.  The ideal candidate will have established relationships with DoD clients within Southern California and broader Pacific Ocean Region.

Responsibilities:  
•    Develop new client accounts and work with existing Tetra Tech account managers and market sector leaders to expand existing client accounts.
•    Prepare proposals, support projects, and perform technical work as necessary balancing sales and utilization. 
•    Develop and implement growth strategies to increase client base for a broad range of integrated services including planning, engineering, investigation, assessment, geospatial, and construction management services.
•    Meet with key clients and potential clients to share Tetra Tech's capabilities and foster stronger client relationships.
•    Work collaboratively with other experts in numerous locations across Tetra Tech's broad US geography.
•    Identify, develop, and nurture strategic partnerships with other businesses for major government programs. 
•    Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:  
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. •    Professional registration (PE, PG, PMP, RA, etc) is preferred.
•    Knowledge of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, or other DoD/Federal organizations is required.

This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.
 

This position requires the successful candidate to pass a background check to obtain access to DoD installations and interact with controlled unclassified information (CUI). 

Education & Experience:  
•    Bachelor of Science in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field is required.
•    Ten (10) years of experience in program/project management with DoD is required 
•    Ten (10) years of relevant experience is preferred
•    Experience supporting or leading capture planning, and task order or contract proposals is required.

The position typically performs work in an office environment.  However, occasionally travel and onsite work maybe required which could require lifting 25 pounds of documents or equipment, traversing uneven terrain during site visits, standing long periods of time at public meetings.

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  This work is principally performed in an office environment.  That can be work from a home office of in a Tetra Tech office.  However, there are occasional requirements to make site visits to client sites.  This requires the ability to perform work in an office environment or outdoors while conducting data gathering site visits, participating in on-site meetings, and attending conferences or other training and business development activities off-site.

Language & Communication Skills: 
•    Must be fluent in the English language, writing and speaking.
•    Must possess excellent writing capabilities and have experience generating proposals suitable for submittal to clients.
•    Is expected to make verbal presentations including corporate qualification, short list interviews with clients, and strategic plans to corporate stakeholders.  

Other Skills:  Fluency with computer software including knowledge of primary Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, TEAMS, and Outlook) is required.
