Tetra Tech is a leading provider of high-end consulting and engineering services for projects worldwide. We combine the resources of a global, multibillion dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 400 locations around the world. We are Leading with Science® to provide sustainable and resilient solutions for our clients.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced BIM coordinator to join our growing MEP team at Tetra Tech, based out of our city centre Manchester, Leeds or Edinburgh office, with the benefit of hybrid working, giving you flexibility around where and when you work.

The role is to assist the MEP design team with the delivery of mechanical and electrical design solutions in the form of Revit models, AutoCAD drawings, and other digital deliverables. Working to the latest BIM standards/UK BIM Framework, you will be integral in ensuring the successful delivery of building services projects across a wide range of sectors, within both public and private domains, including defence, commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, education, and leisure.

What you'll be doing

You support the rest of the design team in the preparation of clear and accurate drawings, models and associated deliverables. This will include:

·       Coordination of MEP models to ensure the building services design could be installed without major rerouting.

·       Setting up new Revit and CAD projects using our templates.

·       Producing and amending models & drawings based on our engineers' mark-ups.

·       Producing schematics and linking these to model data.

·       Ensuring files are stored in accordance with the company's QA procedures.

·       Using built-in interference checking tools and other software solutions to QA check models.

·       Liaising with our BIM Manager to ensure that industry and company specific standards are being maintained.

·       Ensuring MEP models comply with project BIM requirements.

What we are looking for

You will have:

·       Extensive working knowledge and experience of using Revit and AutoCAD software.

·       Prior knowledge of MagiCAD, Navisworks and/or Solibri would also be beneficial.

·       Experience of working as part of an MEP team, with good knowledge of how building services are installed. Experience of installation on site would be an advantage.

·       Excellent written and verbal communications skills, being able to liaise confidently with our design engineers.

·       The ability to work independently and to manage your own workload.

You will be required to attain security clearance to SC level and able to work on both MOD and scientific sector projects also requiring security clearance.
