The Opportunity:

Tetra Tech is looking for Project Manager to join our team.  Reporting to the Vice-president of metals and minerals, the main responsibilities of the Project Manager will be the identifying, development and execution of engineering projects within their clients portfolio of business.

 

Successful candidates will provide technical, management, and staff support for a variety of infrastructure-related projects, primarily focused on the design of water/wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and wastewater collection systems. This role is based in Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work schedule.

Your Role:

  • Ensure constant monitoring of the client portfolio to identify trends and establish our priorities in terms of positioning, development and growth according to the established strategy;
  • Initiate and develop business relationships with potential new customers and business partners;
  • Maintain business relationships with existing customers and business partners;
  • Develop strategic service offerings;
  • Participate in the development of service offers when required; 
  • Act as the main point of contact with the client;
  • Act as the main stakeholder of respective project scope, budget and schedule ;
  • Establish and participate in the development of the best project execution strategies in line with Tetra Tech's engineering and project management practices; 
  • Develop strategies to ensure financial performance of projects;
  • Analyze, interpret and define project scope, based on customer needs, in collaboration with engineering department managers;
  • Coordinate and prepare project budget estimates in line with client needs;
  • Plan project execution and set up follow-up strategies;
  • Coordinate and lead team meetings to ensure collaboration and synergy;
  • Identify and manage project risks and anticipated changes;
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Tetra Tech's engineering disciplines in order to advance project execution;
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables given to clients;
  • Lead or actively participate in customer meetings;
  • Ensure that the company's best practices are known and applied by team members (health and safety, operational procedures and processes, quality, document management, service offering and marketing, human resources, ...).
  • Help recruit and integrate local resources to support Tetra Tech's projects delivery and growth

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in domain of expertise
  • A minimum of 15 years of pertinent experience in the industrial engineering market
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in project management
