Structural Engineer Grads: The successful candidate for this job will work with the project team to accomplish successful completion of projects including building structures for government, public, and private clients. An independent, self-directed, and motivated candidate will have the opportunity to be a project design engineer for regional and national projects performed under the leadership and mentorship of Senior Structural Engineers. The qualified individual possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills that will enhance our relationship with our current clients.

 

 

Your Role:

  • Under of guidance of a Structural Engineer, perform design of structural systems including appropriate system concepts including calculations, layout, sizing, selections, specifications, and coordination.
  • Perform site visits of existing structural systems, along with an experienced engineer, for evaluation or to inspect work in progress/completed.
  • Develop Structural Construction Documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Review and respond to team members on project design work, RFIs, submittals, and other construction related documents and issues in a professional and timely manner.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Master's Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
  • 0-1 years of experience, (Engineering related job or internship)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, knowledge of Revit/BIM is a plus, with working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Fundamental knowledge in the design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
