Your Role:
As a mid-level Water Resources Engineer, you will:
Lead portions of projects involving stormwater management, watershed modeling, hydrologic/hydraulic (H&H) studies, and water infrastructure design.
Develop and review hydrologic and hydraulic models (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, etc.).
Take responsibility for portions of design packages including stormwater systems, culverts, detention basins, green infrastructure, and flood mitigation solutions.
Conduct site investigations, field data collection, and condition assessments with limited oversight.
Prepare technical reports, permitting documents, and construction drawings with a focus on quality and compliance.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with senior staff across disciplines (civil, environmental, geotechnical, and planning).
Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline (M.S. a plus).
5–10 years of relevant experience in water resources, stormwater, or wastewater projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM) and design platforms (AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS).
Strong technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting team-oriented project delivery.
