Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and enhance the front-end interface for our AI solution using JavaScript.
- Collaborate with other team members to integrate AWS services such as Lex, Bedrock, OpenSearch, CloudWatch and other services.
- Optimize web applications for scalability.
- Work regularly with the customer to develop and deploy innovative solutions with a strong focus on AI technologies within Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and other cloud platforms.
- Develop enhancements for an already existing applications built using React.jsStay ahead of emerging trends in web technologies and AI.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on front-end technologies
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Strong understanding of React.js and its core principles and 2+ years of experience building applications using React
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern HTML/CSS libraries
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as NPM, Babel, Webpack, etc.
- Experience working with and integrating AWS services into web applications, specifically AWS Lex, Bedrock
- Experience using Git/GitLab version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of building and maintaining AI-powered chatbots or conversational interfaces
- Experience building/deploying server-side applications and APIs with Node
- Self-driven and proactive in staying up to date with advancements in web development, AI and cloud technologies
